Liana will be singing and tap dancing with her sweet band. They are opening the night for the Corey Glover, the founding member of Living Color. The show is donation based and its at the best tap dancing venue in town! Featuring: Corey Glover / Vocals, Dave Bizzigotti / Bass, Mike Ciro / Guitars, Dennis Diamond / Guitars, Andrew "Juice" Davis / Drums - performing Corey's solo material, Living Colour songs as well as some familiar covers.

“CELEBRATI♀N” is a multi-disciplinary arts show that aims to organize, recognize, and celebrate womxn artists. This salon-style show will be curated by 2 Hudson Valley artists and will run for 3 weeks at Catalyst Gallery in Beacon, New York. Liana will be playing a set of original music at this event; a one woman show with singing, guitar playing, and soulful songs.

In the month of August there are two very important events in Japan, "Genbaku-Kinenbi" and "Obon." "Genbaku-Kinenbi" is Atomic Bomb Memorial Day observed on August 6th for Hiroshima and August 9th for Nagasaki. While I was born in Yokohama, I moved to Hiroshima at the age of ten, it is my second home. We would visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and just be astonished that anyone would do something so inhumane. ​

I hope that many of you come see the photographs and videos of the Bon-Odori Dance Festival from 2011 through 2017, as well as the documents of Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Fukushima. If any of you would like to think about taking steps towards a nuclear-free future, please let me know.
